  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp white miso paste
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ½ tsp grated garlic
  • ½ tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Sesame seeds and scallions (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the miso butter mixture – Mix miso paste, butter, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice in a small bowl until smooth.
  • Marinate the salmon – Pat the salmon fillets dry and spread the miso butter mixture evenly over the top. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  • Cook the salmon – Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place salmon on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Serve and garnish – Remove from the oven, garnish with sesame seeds and scallions, and serve with rice or roasted vegetables.
