1 standard-size bag of tortilla chips
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 ½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup cooked seasoned ground beef or shredded chicken
1 cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained
½ cup diced tomatoes
¼ cup sliced black olives
¼ cup sliced jalapeños
1 avocado, diced
¼ cup chopped green onions
¼ cup sour cream (optional)
¼ cup salsa (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Spread a layer of tortilla chips evenly across the baking sheet.
Sprinkle half of the shredded cheeses over the chips.
Add the seasoned beef or chicken, black beans, tomatoes, olives, and jalapeños.
Top with the remaining cheese.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and top with avocado, green onions, sour cream, and salsa if desired.
Serve immediately while warm and crispy.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for the best melt and texture.
Feel free to customize with different toppings like corn, pickled onions, or cotija cheese.
