Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F or 200°C).

  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Brush the chicken breasts with the seasoned oil mixture.

  • Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6–8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  • Remove from the grill and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top before serving.

Notes

  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for faster and more even cooking.

  • You can marinate the chicken for up to 24 hours for deeper flavor.

  • Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
