A rich, cheesy, and creamy garlic parmesan chicken pasta bake that’s easy to make and perfect for family dinners or meal prepping.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 oz penne or rigatoni pasta
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 ½ cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and slice into strips.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well.
  6. Add parmesan cheese, whisking continuously until smooth.
  7. Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente. Drain and mix with the sauce.
  8. Transfer pasta and sliced chicken to a greased baking dish.
  9. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  10. Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
