  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (for sauce)
  • ½ cup heavy cream (for sauce)

Instructions

  • Prepare the chicken: Butterfly and pound the chicken to ¼ inch thickness.
  • Layer the filling: Place a slice of ham and Swiss cheese on each chicken breast.
  • Roll and secure: Roll the chicken tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  • Bread the chicken: Coat in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and cover with breadcrumbs.
  • Bake or fry: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes or pan-fry until golden brown.
  • Prepare the sauce: Mix Dijon mustard with heavy cream and heat until smooth.
  • Serve: Slice the Chicken Cordon Bleu and drizzle with sauce.
